Born and raised in California and surrounded by incredible beauty, I only moved to the Midwest in 2004 after meeting my amazing husband of nearly 12 years. I take every opportunity possible to travel especially if it is a place where a lighthouse can be found. I wouldn't say photography is my calling, but I am certainly drawn to the opportunity to help others see the world through my eyes. As a two-time cancer survivor, I elected to stop taking things for granted and see the beauty found in everyday life. I hope those who view my photos can see and appreciate the perspective I offer.
